How much does it cost to get titanium implants in Korea? I consulted 5 dermatology clinics in Seoul in person, and the costs differed by almost half!
Wait a minute, what exactly is Korean titanium lifting? How does it differ from Thermage or ultrasound lifting?
When it comes to Korean cosmetic treatments, many people think of Thermage or ultrasound lifting first. But recently, a new option has emerged in dermatology clinics around Gangnam and Hongdae in Seoul: “Titanium Lifting.”
In simple terms, titanium lifting is a non-invasive treatment that uses multi-wavelength lasers, specifically the Soprano Titanium device from Israeli company Alma. It works by simultaneously applying three wavelengths—1064nm, 755nm, and 810nm—to target both superficial and deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and resulting in a tighter, more lifted appearance.
Compared to traditional Thermage, titanium lifting causes much less discomfort (many people say it’s almost painless), and the recovery time is also shorter—you can usually get back to wearing makeup the next day. Additionally, because multiple wavelengths are used simultaneously, the treatment takes much less time.

Prices for titanium lifting in Korea are clearly listed here! Latest price ranges for 2025/2026.

This is probably the part everyone is most interested in. I visited more than five dermatology clinics in Seoul, including those in Gangnam, Hongdae, and Myeongdong, and have compiled the current price ranges for titanium lifting in Korea:
| Treatment Options | Price Ranges (Korean Won) | Price Ranges (for reference only in New Taiwan Dollars) |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium Lifting for the Entire Face | ₩800,000 to ⩾₩1.8 million | Approximately NT$18,000 to NT$40,000 |
| Titanium for chin and neck enhancement | ₩500,000 to ⩾₩900,000 | Approximately NT$11,000 to NT$20,000 |
| Titanium facial and neck enhancement package | ₩1.2 million to ⩾₩2.5 million | Approximately NT$27,000 to NT$56,000 |
Yes, you read that right—it’s almost twice the difference! Prices can vary depending on the location of the clinic, the qualifications of the doctors, and whether it is a specialized clinic focusing on facelift procedures. The famous clinics in Jiangnan are usually more expensive, but there are also some highly rated options near Hongda and the city hall area that offer more affordable prices.
How much does it cost to have the whole face, chin, and neck treated? I’ll break down the costs by area for you.

If you want to do only partial treatments, first figure out how to manage your budget:
- Full-face titanium lifting: ₩9.8 million to ₩91.8 million. This is the most common treatment, effective for both cheeks, nasolabial folds, and the jawline.
- Chin + neck: ₩9.5 million to ₩9.9 million. Specifically designed to address double chins and neck sagging; many young women in their early thirties ask about this.
- Full-face + neck package: ₩91.2 million to ₩92.5 million. Getting a complete upper body lift at once offers better value in the long run.
Also, be aware that many clinics may offer “trial prices” or “first-time discounts,” which can be 20–30% lower. However, these usually apply to superficial treatments or fewer injections. If it’s your first time, I recommend going for a full course of treatment to ensure noticeable results and avoid wasting money.
Compare titanium lifting prices at clinics in Jiangnan, Hongda, and Myeongdong

Here’s a simple classification based on my experience:
- Jiangnan (Apgujeong, Cheongdam-dong): ₩91.5 million to ₩92.5 million. High-end option with excellent facilities and translation services, but also the highest prices. Foreigners feel very welcome, and many clinics have dedicated Chinese-speaking staff.
- Hongda (Yonsei University Station, Hongik University Station): ₩9.8 million to ₩91.5 million. Best value! Popular among young people; doctors are skilled, and due to the proximity to universities, there are many foreign clients, so translation services are well-developed.
- Myeongdong, City Hall area: ₩9.9 million to ₩91.6 million. Most convenient for tourists with minimal language barriers, but prices are average and there are no special advantages.
My final choice was a clinic near Hongda. In addition to the reasonable price, the doctors were very patient during the consultation and did not try to push unnecessary treatments—this is really important!
How long does the effect of titanium lifting last? How often should it be repeated to be worthwhile?

I specifically asked several clinic directors about this, and here’s the general answer:
- Immediate effect: You can see about 30% improvement right after the procedure, mainly because the heat causes the existing collagen to contract.
- Optimal effect: The true lifting results will become fully visible 1 to 3 months after the surgery, by which time the new collagen has formed and the skin looks significantly tighter.
- Durability: Generally, the effects last for 8 to 12 months. However, with proper care (sun protection, skincare, avoiding excessive weight loss), it’s possible to maintain the results for up to one and a half years.
Regarding how often to repeat the treatment: Most clinics recommend doing it every 8 to 12 months as part of maintenance. But if you are older or have poor skin condition, you may consider having it done every six months.
How can foreign tourists schedule titanium lifting in Korea? Pre- and post-surgery precautions

For foreigners getting cosmetic procedures in Korea, language can be a concern, but it’s actually become much more convenient nowadays!
Pre-surgery preparations
- It is recommended to make a reservation through the BeautsGO platform 1 to 2 weeks before the appointment. Chinese-speaking customer service is available, so there’s no need to worry about language barriers.
- When making a reservation, you can indicate the treatment you would like and the area to be treated, and the clinic will prepare an estimate in advance.
- One week before the procedure, avoid taking supplements such as aspirin or vitamin E that may affect blood clotting.
- It’s better to go to the clinic without makeup on the day of the procedure. Washing your face thoroughly beforehand will ensure more accurate results.
Post-procedure care
- There may be slight redness on the day of the procedure, but it usually subsides within 2 to 4 hours.
- Increase hydration and use sun protection—these two steps are very important!
- For one week after the procedure, avoid using exfoliating or acidic products.
- Avoid high-temperature environments such as saunas, steam baths, or ovens for at least 3 days.
- You can wear makeup normally, but it is recommended to use mild makeup removers.
